Sony WEGA Engine Video Processor
The Sony WEGS processing technology builds on Sony's long experience in display engineering, and incorporates an all-digital signal path to reduce conversion artifacts. With exclusive picture enhancement technologies like Digital MPEG Noise Reduction and Digital Contrast Enhancer, the Sony WEGA video engine is designed to optimize contrast, color reproduction, and picture sharpness while removing compression noise.

1080p-Compatible HDMI Input
The Sony Grand WEGA rear projection HDTV televisions are equipped with a full range of inputs to maximize flexibility. The all-digital HDMI inputs are 1080p compatible, and the units include a front-mounted Component Video input, which is 1080i-comptaible, for convenience. A 15-pin d-Sub VGA input lets your Sony rear projection television double as a high-resolution PC monitor.
